Pod 600 from Watt&sea

Hello everyone,

I am considering installing a pod 600 on my pogo 30 lifting keel. Has anyone already fitted one? Could someone give me the dimensions of the clearance between the lifting keel and the hull? I’m taking my pogo out for refit in the spring, but I’d like to anticipate the work.

Hello,

I’m not sure that’s a good idea, as you’ll also need to allow room for straps to get the boat out of the water, and at heel, on such a flat hull, the water can be disturbed, a bit like the rudders. You could take Watt and Sea’s advice.
