The Structures yard informs us:
The oldest Pogo 8.50s are now over 20 years old, and we would like to draw your attention to the control of the chainplate tie rods.
These tie rods are the continuity of the rigging and also require a periodic visual check.
We advise you to carry out a penetrant inspection of these parts. This is a non-destructive test to reveal cracks in the metal. This can be done by your local rigger or a metal worker.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Pogo Structures.
Sincerely
Laurent OUDIN
