Hello everyone,
For the wintering of my Pogo 36, I did not have the courage to remove the mainsail but as advised on several sites I released the tension of the battens. To do this, I partially unscrewed the carriages (6 turns).
I tried again yesterday but didn’t succeed every time. The overall result is probably pitiful, but I didn’t check because I had a crosswind in the harbor and it was too late to get out.
How do you go about it? How do you set the batten tension correctly? Should the mainsail be removed?
Any feedback on the subject would be most welcome!
Have a nice evening,
Lionel
