      Hello,

      A little feedback.
A few days ago, on my way to fill up with diesel for the winter, I found myself in a situation that made me hot!

The reverser control cable snapped on the backstroke on the way to the station. The engine jammed in full clutch and the boat began to move dangerously backwards towards the hold.
Fortunately, the person accompanying me, who had gone down to the quay, didn’t let go of the bow tip… I choked the engine to stop it, and we were able to avoid the worst and bring the boat back parallel to the quay by recovering the stern tip that had fallen into the water and jumping onto the quay.

More fear than harm, apart from a few scratches (more) on the hull, but one thing puzzles me: why isn’t there a safety device that automatically disengages the engine if this famous cable breaks?
      have a nice day

      jm
